LEVEL 3 AWARD IN SUPERVISING FOOD SAFETY IN CATERING (INTERMEDIATE)

A three day course inclusive of the exam, aimed at those in the workplace that participate in activities related to the subject area and who also have a related supervisory role (equating to the previous intermediate qualification).

The syllabus includes an introduction to microbiology, food poisoning, food preservation and storage, temperature control, layout and design of food premises, cleaning and disinfection and pest control. There is an input on the most recent developments in food legislation, the concepts of due diligence, HACCP and SFBB.

A sixty question multiple choice paper will conclude the course. Pass mark 40/60. Pass Mark 66%, Credit Pass 87%.

Food Hygiene Matters reserves the right to cancel the course, for example due to under subscription.  In such circumstances a full refund of course fees will be made or a transfer to another suitable course will be offered to the delegate.  No responsibility is accepted for incidental or consequential loss resulting from such a cancellation.

Delegate Cancellations -
More than 14 days before the Course - no charge made.
7 days before the course - 50% of the fee payable.
Less than 7 days before the course - the whole fee will be payable.

DIRECTIONS FOR VISITING OUR OFFICE & TRAINING FACILITY

Our offices are situated on the first floor of Bowtell House which is on the corner of the High Road and Thundersley Park Road, Benfleet, Essex. The entrance is from Thundersley Park Road.  We regret that parking is not available close to our office in Thundersley Park Road or immediately adjacent to our office.

Please see the map enclosed for the location of free car parks.
The walk to our office is approximately five minutes from the car park, turning right out of Richmond Avenue into the High Road, past the shops and the school. Cross the road to Somerfield and Thundersley Park Road is a few yards to your left. Our entrance is via the outside stairs at the rear of the corner shop.
